Shift Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends per departmental needs. Job Summary Are you ready to make a lasting impact on Kentuckian’s lives? The Office of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement is seeking a Director of Philanthropic Partnerships on the Philanthropic Partnerships, Events & Programs team. In this dynamic role, you’ll lead the charge for fundraising initiatives for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Programs (CMN) as well as other cause marketing partnerships benefiting UKHC & Kentucky Children’s Hospital (KCH), ensuring that our cause activations help to provide exceptional care and support to patients and their families.

As the Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, you’ll craft and execute innovative strategies to engage corporate/organizational donors and partners, building meaningful relationships with faculty, administrative leaders, and patient families. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will cultivate and maintain a robust portfolio of supporters, guiding them to deepen their commitment to UKHC & KCH. You’ll be at the heart of our community, actively participating in the daily activities of UK HealthCare, Kentucky Children’s Hospital, and the College of Medicine. Collaborating with internal and external program stakeholders, you’ll champion philanthropic initiatives that make a real difference. Leading two dedicated team members, you’ll inspire and mentor them to achieve their goals while managing the CMN program budget with fiscal responsibility.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Ability to make and execute marketing or philanthropy plans, excellent interpersonal communication, public speaking and written communication skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience/skills with sales, marketing, media, donor relations, community relations, writing and editing. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience Experience in community relations, fundraising, sponsorship sales, marketing or public relations.
