How you will make an impact
Working closely with the Executive Director to prepare a detailed fundraising plan with reasonable and attainable goals to meet community funding objectives. Both short-term and strategic goals should be clearly articulated.Developing and implementing strategies to cultivate, solicit and provide stewardship for the communityStrategically growing the prospective donor base through networking in the communityPlanning and coordinating fund drives to support strategic goalsConducting outreach to the community to cultivate relationships with local business, civic and social groupsCreating public relations materials and collateral materials to enhance the reputation and vision of the communityWhat you will need
Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible fundraising experienceFundraising or public relations experience required. Special events and volunteer management experience required.Working knowledge of all areas of fundraising, including annual and planned givingAppropriately utilize philanthropic software including but not limited to Raisers Edge and Planned Giving software.Strong background in senior services or health care preferredStrong computer skillsPlease note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
