Job Summary UK Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement along with UK HealthCare and UK College of Medicine Women & Children’s Services is seeking a goal-oriented and mission-driven philanthropy professional to serve as Associate Director of Philanthropy with a focus on mental health initiatives. This position will be responsible for engaging, cultivating, soliciting and renewing gifts from individual donors for their assigned UK HealthCare and UK College of Medicine funds. Working with the Director of Philanthropy, the incumbent will develop a portfolio from alumni, parents, patients, families and friends with an affinity to this position’s assigned unit(s). This position will reach out to prospects, secure face-to-face visits, engage them in the vital mission, solicit and close gifts focused at this level. This role will be held to metrics of number of visits, progress developing and qualifying prospects in the Associate Director’s portfolio, proposals submitted and dollars raised. The successful candidate should be a self-starter with skills in oral and written communication.
