Phlebotomist

In this key role, you will provide vital information to help our patients understand their health. If you are passionate about helping people and have a drive for service, this could be the role for you!   You will be responsible for obtaining patients' blood specimens using the appropriate equipment in compliance with phlebotomy policies and procedures, including proper techniques, patient identification, biohazard precautions, and timing and fasting requirements.   Position Highlights
*Perform venipuncture and finger sticks using standard equipment to include vacutainer tubes and sleeves, tourniquets, blood culture, syringes, and butterfly needles. *Ensure optimal quality of specimen is obtained for the ordered test. *Communicates to Nursing when patients refuse blood draws, discrepant patient identification, fasting requirements or other related factors regarding collection.
