Description:

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect and store specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needlesPerform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisCheck all test requisitions or computer label against script to ensure 100 correctPackage specimens for transportMaintain patient and specimen information logs

Skills & Qualifications:

1+ years of Phlebotomy experienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredValid Phlebotomy certification for the state preferredMinimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
