You will perform the routine duties of specimen collection, processes body fluids from patients for testing and document results on to patient records. Submit your resume today to see what possibilities are available What you will be doing:Collects blood samples and processes body fluids from patients. Demonstrates competency in performing routine venipuncture, finger stick, arterial blood collections and obtaining blood directly from patient catheters.Collects and maintains patient samples for analysis in the laboratory.Processes, prepares and aliquots specimens for testing. Notes information on collection records. Remains knowledgeable of all policies, procedures and protocols.Performs all testing in compliance with safety guidelines, policies and procedures. What is Required:Completion of a Phlebotomist program and obtained Phlebotomy certification. 1-3 years of experience as a Phlebotomist experience in a laboratory or clinic. Benefits and Perks:Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., will be required to work overtime hours for weekend or holiday coverage.
