Job Title: Phlebotomist Job Description A local hospital is seeking to build out a phlebotomy team that will work as an extension of the nursing team. This position offers a long-term contract with the opportunity to be part of one of the leading hospitals in Knoxville, known for its specialized elective procedures and exceptional service. Responsibilities + Perform phlebotomy procedures + Assist with patient ambulation and monitor walking + Conduct EKGs + Respond to call lights + Check vital signs as needed + Stock supply closets during downtime Essential Skills + Phlebotomy experience (verified with reference) + Customer service skills + Experience as a medical assistant Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus Work Environment The work environment includes lab and office settings. The position offers 40 hours of PTO in the first 9 months and 60 hours of PTO every 6 months thereafter.
