Adecco Medical & Science is hiring Phlebotomists in Providence Village, TX! Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration. **Type:** Three Month Contract with opportunity for extension **Schedule:** Monday to Friday – 8AM to 5PM **Pay:** $22 to $ 24.34/hr. **Responsibilities Include:** · Performs venipuncture using vacutainer, syringe, and butterfly techniques; capillary punctures using heel and finger stick techniques on patients. · Collects, identifies, labels, and processes specimens according to protocol. · Instructs patients on urine collection procedures and allocates urine specimens. · Prepares equipment to efficiently collect blood products. · Cleans and sterilizes equipment, instruments, and work area and ensures preventive maintenance is performed on all equipment and monitors · Maintains knowledge of all routine containers and minimum volumes required for specimen collection, and complies with laboratory ordering and billing compliance · Enters laboratory data accurately into the computer system and responds timely to abnormal and panic values. · Distributes laboratory reports. **Requirements Include:** · High School Diploma/GED (or higher) · Current National certification or registration as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist or the ability to obtain the certification within 180 days of employment. · Immunizations/vaccinations required: MMR, TB Screening, Varicella, Hep B, Flu shot, Tdap, Covid 19 vaccination **Why Work For Adecco?** · Excellent Weekly Pay discussed during screening · 401(k) Plan · Skills Training · Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
