Phlebotomist
Job Title: PhlebotomistJob Description Join our Family Practice Clinic as a Phlebotomist, where you will interact with 25-35 patients daily. You will be responsible for lab draws across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, processing samples, and charting patient and sample information into our computer system. This role requires handling various biological samples, including blood and urine. Responsibilities + Performing blood draws and sample collection for patients of all ages. + Processing samples and entering information into the computer system. + Charting patient and sample information accurately. + Handling biological samples such as blood and urine. + Providing excellent customer service. + Conducting venipuncture procedures. Essential Skills + Proficiency in blood draws and sample collection. + Experience in processing and handling biological samples. + Accurate data entry and charting skills. + Strong customer service skills. + Experience with venipuncture. + At least 1 year of experience, preferably 2-3 years. + Previous experience in clinics, urgent cares, or hospitals. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required. + Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients. + Comfortable working in a single-person site. + Computer savvy. Work Environment This position is based on-site at a Family Practice clinic in Kansas City, KS, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekend shifts. The clinic serves an underserved and underprivileged community. The interview and training will take place at 7800 W. 110th Street, Overland Park, KS.
