Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join a high-volume Patient Services Center. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, using both butterfly and straight needles, and be comfortable with hands-on patient interactions. The role also includes minor data entry tasks and the opportunity to learn additional skills such as accessioning.

ResponsibilitiesPerform 30-40 blood draws per day using both butterfly and straight needlesDocument and update patient records through the internal systemProvide excellent customer service to a high volume of patientsPerform minor data entry tasks accuratelyTake on additional tasks such as accessioning through trainingEssential SkillsExperience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant in a high-volume facilityProficiency in using butterfly and straight needlesComfortable with hands-on patient interactionsAbility to enter data accurately in different EMR systemsExcellent customer service skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with accessioning is a plusFlexible and willing to work weekends if neededPhlebotomy certification is not requiredMinimum education: High school diploma or GEDWork Environment

The position is based in Fairfield County, MA, primarily serving offices in Greenwich and Stamford, CT. Training will be provided in Stamford, CT. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 6am-6pm with rotating weekends, totaling 40 hours per week. The facility is fast-paced, handling over 100 patients daily. It offers a brand-new environment similar to a hospital setting, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience. Flexibility within the stated hours is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00
