Job Description

We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join our team at a patient service center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using straight needles for a majority of blood draws and able to use butterfly needles for difficult sticks. This role is perfect for those who enjoy a change of scenery and in-state travel.

ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles for difficult sticks.Conduct blood draws on infants and pediatric patients.Process blood samples accurately and efficiently.Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort during blood draws.Essential SkillsProficiency in phlebotomy techniques.Experience with straight needles.Experience with pediatric and infant blood draws.At least 2 years of experience in drawing blood is ideal, but less experience may be considered.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in processing blood samples.Work Environment

This position involves working at a very small patient service center with a shift of 30.5 hours per week. The hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 1pm, with every other Saturday from 7:30am to 1:30pm. The role does not require working on holidays or vacations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
