Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description

Phlebotomists collect specimens from patients through a variety of procedures, package specimens and samples for laboratory testing, and help with any other lab procedures as needed. The role requires proficiency in blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, including pediatric blood collections and difficult draws. The phlebotomist must have a comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety, and effectively communicate its importance to other employees. Additionally, the phlebotomist should possess the ability and skills necessary to provide orientation and training for patient service technicians.

Acute laboratory setting. The work schedule is the NOC shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends. The role involves working with pediatric patients under the supervision of the lab supervisor and team lead.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00
