Job Title: Phlebotomist Location: Openings at Multiple Sites in Tampa, FL Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to $23 per hour Job Description: We are seeking skilled and compassionate Phlebotomists to join our team at a high-volume Patient Service Center in Tampa. In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics. Your primary responsibilities will include drawing blood, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct blood draws from patients in a professional and efficient manner. + Ensure proper identification and labeling of blood samples. + Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the blood draw area. + Provide excellent customer service to patients. + Follow all protocols and guidelines to ensure the accuracy of blood collection. + Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures on patients of all ages. + Prepare and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Follow all safety protocols and procedures. + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Essential Skills: + Phlebotomy + Blood draws + Blood sample collection + Customer service + Phlebotomy certification + Experience in blood draws Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent. + Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited program is preferred, but not required. + Previous experience in a high-volume setting is preferred. + Ability to work with adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
