What you need to know about this position:
+ CRH offers on the job training for this position
+ Inpatient department providing round the clock services in all areas of the hospital, our Lab Specimen Procurement department works closely as a team with up to six phlebotomists working depending on the time of day.
+ This department utilizes mobile dives such as Rover iPhones and printers to help correctly identify patients and ensure we are providing quality care.
+ This position performs routine and special phlebotomy procedures, remote site testing as needed, and business functions that are essential to lab operations, e.g., patient registration, order entry, nursing home records management, supply management for department and clients, etc
+ The base hourly rate for this position is $16.40. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
+ This PRN position is not benefit eligible, but offers a premium for hours worked, and the scheduled hours will depend on the needs of the department and patients. .
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experiences
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ One to three months related experience and/or training preferred
+ CRH does offer on the job training.
+ Opportunity to be certified within 6 months.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
+ Must have valid Indiana driver’s license, and meet the hospital’s liability insurance carrier requirements.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association (AHA) required.

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and push or pull. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision to identify vacutainer stopper colors, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee must have good eye-hand coordination.
