Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording data, and updating patient information. This role involves collecting and storing specimens, including venipuncture blood drawing and other specimen collections such as urine and fecal. The Phlebotomist will use various techniques, including straight needles and butterfly needles, and will understand lab orders, physicians' orders, and blood work orders. This position requires matching laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, labeling centrifuge splits, and freezing specimens as required by test protocols. The Phlebotomist must follow specific procedures to maintain the integrity of the specimen and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.

The Phlebotomist will work in a hospital central lab draw center, providing services in a well-established medical diagnostic environment. The position offers the opportunity to work onsite at a nationally recognized hospital lab.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
