Phlebotomist
Job Title: PhlebotomistJob Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work independently drawing labs and processing specimens, ensuring accurate data entry of patient information. This role involves various tasks such as blood draws, restocking supplies, processing and labeling samples, centrifuging samples, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities + Independently draw labs and process specimens + Accurately enter patient information into data systems + Perform blood draws on patients + Restock supplies as needed + Process and label samples correctly + Centrifuge samples for further testing + Provide exceptional customer service to patients Essential Skills + Phlebotomy certification + At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience + Proficiency in blood draw techniques and venipuncture + Strong specimen processing experience + Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients + Customer service skills + Knowledge of the order of draw Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED (must be verified) + 2+ years of phlebotomy experience + Experience in high volume blood draws + Ability to work efficiently under pressure Work Environment You will be the only phlebotomist on site, working Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. The last draw is at 5:10pm to allow time for processing. The setting is not very high volume, averaging around 20 draws a day. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
