Job Title: Phlebotomist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team. This role involves working primarily with cancer and orthopedic patients, managing blood and urine sample collections, and processing samples using EPIC software. Responsibilities + Collect blood and urine samples from adult cancer and orthopedic patients. + Process samples in the EPIC system. + Answer phones and provide customer service. + Travel by foot to patient rooms for blood draws. + Handle a high volume of blood draws, especially between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience as a phlebotomist within a hospital setting. + Proficiency with EPIC software, with experience using hand-held Rover devices highly preferred. + Phlebotomy certification is highly preferred but not required. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. Work Environment The position is 100% onsite within a fast-paced clinical lab. Available shifts include Monday-Thursday 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM (10-hour shift), with no weekends or on-call duties. Additional openings include Day Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Weekend/Night Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Training will be conducted on the first shift for one week. The role offers a 3-month contract with the opportunity to apply for permanent vacancies.
