Job Title: Phlebotomist

ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws and label specimens accuratelyCentrifuge specimens and record dataUpdate patient information in the systemCollect and store specimens, including venipuncture blood drawing and other specimen collections (e.g., urine, fecal)Demonstrate proficiency with straight needles and butterfly needles techniquesUnderstand and interpret lab orders, physicians' orders, and blood work ordersMatch laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubesAccurately label and handle specimens for centrifuging and freezing as required by test protocolsFollow procedures to maintain the integrity of specimens during transportComply with OSHA and DEP regulationsSkills & Qualifications1+ year of phlebotomy experience in a medical diagnostic lab setting or hospital laboratoryMedical lab draw experienceProficiency in venipunctures in a lab or hospital setting preferred but not requiredPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
