Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned phlebotomist with 3-5 years of experience for a high-volume location in Peoria, AZ. The ideal candidate will be able to draw 30+ patients daily and have advanced computer skills to navigate between two systems. The position involves working in a Physician Owned Lab (POL) and completing draws for the POL in addition to regular duties. The candidate must be organized, possess excellent communication skills, be a quick learner, and exhibit excellent customer service. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws on pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.Process specimens accurately and efficiently.Provide excellent customer service to patients.Enter data and navigate between two computer systems.Complete draws for the Physician Owned Lab (POL).Maintain organization and manage a high volume of patients daily.Essential Skills3-5 years of phlebotomy experience.Advanced computer skills, including data entry and system navigation.Ability to draw 30+ patients daily.Excellent communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Flexibility and adaptability.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.Some phlebotomy experience outside of school and externships.Work Environment
This position is in an IOP (In-Office Phlebotomy) setting. The hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The environment requires handling a high volume of patients and working with both regular duties and POL draws. The dress code is professional.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
