Job Title: Phlebotomist (Farmington)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in Farmington. This role involves drawing patient blood samples, and processing, and packaging them for testing. You will work closely with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws, as well as the shipment of samples to the medical testing site in Novi.
Responsibilities
+ Draw patient blood samples, process them, and package them properly, most likely 30-50 times daily.
+ Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws.
+ Schedule pickups and shipping of samples to the medical testing site.
Essential Skills
+ At least three years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant.
+ Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate.
+ Experience with 200 or more solo blood draws.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer tube colors for multiple tube collections.
+ Proficiency with Straight needles, as this is the primary needle used.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
