This opportunity is full-time during first shift.

In this role, you will:

Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure that reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are successfully transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle – rain or shine!Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious phlebotomy training or experienceExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer and data entry skillsA valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Bonus points if you’ve got:

2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection , processing and operating conventional vehicles for business purposes. This includes cars, trucks, and/or vans.Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
