Vitalant is seeking a Donor Care Technician II dedicated to making a positive difference. Please note: This is a dual role as a Phlebotomist and a (commercial motor vehicle) driver. When needed, you will be assigned to drive the company's mobile coach bus to mobile blood drives. We will provide training. No CDL required. You will receive an extra $2.00 an hour added to the base rate as long as you drive the CMV vehicles as required.

What to Expect
Schedule: Variable full-time hours between 5am and 9pm, Sunday through Saturday, Five days a week including every other weekend

As a Donor Care Tech II, you’ll get to:
Perform donor interviews and appropriately determine donation eligibility. Participate in donor rebooking activities. Perform whole blood, double red cell and plasma phlebotomy of donors in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Works as part of a team to achieve daily team production goal. Assists and supports other team members, as required on both Mobile and Fixed Sites. Active driver’s license with clean driving record. Ability to drive a large vehicle (training and competency required)Successful pre-hire completion of DOT(Department of Transportation) physical and drug testing requiredHigh School Graduate or GED Six (6) months previous experience as a Donor Care Tech To include training and competent on Alyx Blood Collection Systems Ability to travel as required Able to lift 40lbs
