Job Summary Available Inpaient Phlebotomy Positions: Full Time Evening Shift - 1:15PM-9:45PM; Every Other Weekend & Rotating Holidays Part Time Day Shift - Weekdays 5AM-9AM; E/O Weekend 5AM-1:30PM; Rotating Holidays. Part Time Night Shift - 9:30PM-6:00AM; Two Weekends On/Two Weekends Off, then One Weekend On/One Weekend Off & Rotating Holidays Weekend Only: Evening Shift Weekend Role. One Weekend Per Pay Period - 1:15PM-9:45PM. Performs phlebotomy, point of care testing on multiple platforms and EKG tracings. Correctly identifies patients, handles patient registration. Maintains a working knowledge of both the laboratory and hospital information systems and tools. Provides dispatching or coordinating of collections and performs procedures in a standardized, accurate manner with knowledge of the parameters of acceptability and critical limits. In Fiscal Year 2023, the lab performed 8.5 million tests (including Chemistry, Cytology, Flow Cytometry, Hematology, Coagulation, Histology, Microbiology, Point of Care Testing, Transfusion Services and Urinalysis), 122,751 Anatomical Pathology tests, and 404,139 combined inpatient & outpatient phlebotomy draws.
