Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital is Portage, WI is seeking a Laboratory Assistant I/Phlebotomist to join our team!

Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood specimens from patients Verify patient information and ensure proper identification before collecting samples Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing Follow proper protocols and procedures for specimen collection and processing Maintain a clean and organized work area Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control protocols Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort during the procedure

Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Varied shifts, to also include weekend/holiday coverage.

Experience/Qualifications

Completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Successful completion of a phlebotomy program or related health care training (MA, CNA, EMT, etc.) Phlebotomy experience, related health care experience, or other non-healthcare laboratory experience beneficialCurrent BLS certification may need to be obtained
