Phlebotomist Technician
Job Title: Certified Phlebotomist Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Certified Phlebotomist Technician with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable phlebotomy experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric to geriatric populations and must have straight stick experience. The role involves performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, ensuring accurate data entry of patient information, processing billing information, collecting payments when required, maintaining patient and specimen information logs, and providing superior customer service to all patients.

ResponsibilitiesPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.Accurately enter patient information into the system in a timely manner.Process billing information and collect payments when required.Maintain patient and specimen information logs.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of verifiable phlebotomy experience required.Phlebotomy Certification in the state of Maryland required.Experience with pediatric to geriatric populations.Must have straight stick experience.Proficient in phlebotomy, capillary puncture, and blood collection techniques.Strong customer service skills.Ability to handle high volume draws per day.Excellent multi-tasking abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in patient care delivery.Knowledge of specimen collection.Work Environment

This position is based at a primary in-office practice in Clinton, MD.

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00
