This position is based at Marymount Medical Center in Broadview Heights, outpatient clinic.
As a Phlebotomist Technician, you will work with patient services to perform blood collection and related tasks. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
• Performing specimen processing and sending out tasks for all specimen types.
• Picking up and delivering blood, other sample types, and lab supplies to appropriate areas.
• Communicating information to the correct personnel.
• Greeting customers and providing positive patient service experience.
• Following venipuncture procedures and maintain appropriate log sheets.

• Currently is certified as a Formal Phlebotomist.
• Comes to work with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Works positively in a close-knit, team building environment.
• Provides empathetic and patient-centered care.

Technical proficiency; standard procedures, techniques and common practices required.Physical Requirements:
Requires frequent and long durations of standing and walking.Visual acuity including the ability to distinguish colors.Manual dexterity sufficient to manipulate blood drawing equipment and make measurements.Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
