Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in a stationary role at our Warren location. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on phlebotomy experience in an outpatient setting, with the potential for raises at six months.
ResponsibilitiesDraw patient blood samples, properly process, and package the samples, approximately 30-50 times per day.Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws and coordinate the pick-ups/shipping of samples to the medical testing site in Novi/Farmington.Essential SkillsAt least three years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant (drawing, processing, and packaging samples).Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Knowledge of order of draw and BD Vacutainer order of draw tube colors for multiple tube collections.Strong proficiency with straight needles, as this is the primary needle used.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma.200+ solo blood draws.Work Environment
The team wears navy blue scrubs. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to noon. When working offsite, you will be accompanied by another phlebotomist from our team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50
