Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Metallurgist at our Phoenix Process operations.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with production and maintenance supervision along with other outside departments to ensure environmental compliance and safe functionality of the plant operation and maintaining of equipment. Work on projects through all aspects of experimental design, engineering, forecasting, funding, construction, and commissioning Continue to develop automation of data collection Provide technical assistance and analysis to process group stakeholders Be familiar with strategic business planning and propose process improvements to maximize cash flow Create and maintain leaching plans, solution management plans Analyze metallurgical test work and update recovery curves Work with computers and associated programs like Excel, PowerPoint, Jigsaw, Pi, GoldSim Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent Process-related degree required 1-3 years experience in metallurgical or chemical engineering role required Experience in heap leach metallurgy preferred Knowledge of the principles and methods used in metallurgical and processing analysis, have some practical application, and process optimization experience required Ability to research, analyze information and draw conclusions, take action to resolve operational, environmental issues, permit compliance, and problem resolution from an operating plan status required Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required Proven safety record and ability to support work group in achievements of safety, environmental, and production goals required Ability to perform the essential functions of this position requiredWhat We Can Offer You
