Photo Coordinator (Disney Entertainment Television)

The Photo Coordinator supports the Photo Production staff with projects and basic initiatives. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing episodic coverage and maintaining department production schedules, in addition to maintaining open communication between all areas of Disney Entertainment Television.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Handles episodic coverage including but not limited to reviewing scripts or publicist-prepared synopses, coordinating photographer assignments, etc.
+ Draft and distribute photo memos.
+ Book photographers for episodic and event coverage.
+ Process invoices for payment.
+ Process new-hire paperwork for temps, freelancers and photographers.
+ Coordinate and secure talent photo approval.
+ Manage cost sharing and deal memos with co-productions and outside studios.
+ Schedule team meetings and maintain production calendar.
+ Create, update and maintain projects in SnapShot and Mondays.
+ Assign and accompany photographers to events, red carpet and special parties.
+ Handle overflow for Photo Producers—assisting and/or coordinating photo shoots (supporting management of all logistics and on-site production).
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ 1+ year in Photography Services, Communications, Media Relations or equivalent work experience.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, as well as Mac.
+ Understanding of Photography software (Digital Fusion, Photo Mechanic).
+ Proven interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Basic knowledge of editing and captioning.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
