Physical Design Intern City Warrenville State IL Country United States Area of Interest Engineering Type Part Time - Temporary Job ID 2025-14869 Business Group Electric Grid Infrastructure Services Department Physical Design Description As an Associate Intern, you will be assigned to work on a project team and assist the engineering team members in the execution of their project work. These projects may involve the design of new and/or modifications and upgrades to power-related engineering projects.Working under the direction of other engineers, this position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in engineering one or more of the following areas:Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designsWork on a variety of tasks associated with project reporting, such as tracking and evaluating project activities, project progress, and associated data Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

Must have at least one semester or one trimester using CAD software.Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines.

Valued but not required skills and experience:

Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the communityPrior, related internship or co-op experience
