Adecco is currently assisting a client in their search in hiring a **Physical & Occupational Therapists** to work in a state-of-the-art facility in **St. Louis, MO.**
**Pay Rate:** The wage for this position is between $40 and $45/HR. _Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors._
**Shifts:**
*First Shift Weekdays (Monday – Friday)
7:30 am - 4:00 pm
8:00 am - 4:30 pm
8:30 am - 5:00 pm
* First Shift (Tuesday-Saturday)
7:30 am - 4:00 pm
*First Shift Weekends (Saturday - Sunday)
7:30 am – 4:00 pm
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our team. You will provide direct patient care, conduct evaluations, and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse medical conditions, including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular and pulmonary, geriatric, wound care/lymphedema, and chronic pain diagnoses.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Scope of Care:
• Conduct therapy assessments and evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care for conditions including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, and pulmonary issues.
• Perform assessments such as musculoskeletal evaluation, general therapy screenings, prosthetic and adaptive equipment evaluations, aquatic therapy, pelvic health, and home evaluations.
• Monitor and document patient progress, including baseline measurements and ongoing assessments.
• Begin discharge planning at the time of admission and provide necessary home education programs.
**Therapist Responsibilities:**
• Assess patients and develop treatment plans aimed at reducing disability or pain, restoring lost function, and increasing participation.
• Provide interventions focusing on posture, mobility, gait, strength, endurance, balance, and functional tasks.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on deficits, interventions, and home care strategies.
• Perform chart reviews and maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, discharge planning, and consultations.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs and unforeseen circumstances.
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality policies.
**Special Requirements:**
• Maintain current CPR Certification, renewed at least 30 days prior to expiration.
• Adhere to VA policies regarding infection control, fire and safety, and patient safety.
• Utilize computerized patient record systems and other data management tools.
• Consult and collaborate with other medical professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Provide patient education, training, and home program instructions.
**Qualifications & Experience:**
• Physical Therapist: Degree from a CAPTE-accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Occupational Therapist: Recognized certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Minimum of two years of hospital or ambulatory care experience (as applicable by specialty area, e.g., lymphedema).
• Proficiency in using adaptive equipment and implementing therapy techniques tailored to patient need

**Pay Details:** $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
