The Physical Security Intelligence team aims to advise and empower decision-makers to protect Ally employees and assets from internal and external physical threats. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail, critical thinking and research capabilities, and robust writing skills. The candidate should have an appetite to research and monitor geopolitical trends, emerging threats, and risks. Experience supporting Risk Assessments, open-source research, or Behavioral Threat Assessments is a plus.
This position works collaboratively with the Security Operations Center, Executive Protection, Threat Response and Preparedness, Crisis Management, Information Technology, Corporate Workplace, Employee Relations, and other internal partners. This position reports directly to the Manager of Physical Security Intelligence. This is a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC. #LI-hybrid

The Work Itself Monitor, collect, and advance all-source intelligence for analysis and production in support of Ally Physical SecurityAssist Ally's Physical Security mission by monitoring intelligence signals, capturing information on physical threats, researching potential impact, and bringing up relevant information promptly.Conducts monitoring in support of Executive Protection travel and events.Conducts triage and brief research on identified threats or signals, escalates as necessary.Conducts research in support of Physical Security Investigations, including background, and social media analysis.Conducts monitoring and analysis of emerging physical threats to Ally employees, assets, and operations The Skills You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Political Science, Security Studies, Emergency Management, Journalism, Communications, or a relevant field of study preferred.Experience in Corporate Security, Journalism, Law Enforcement, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or Military (internship experience applies) preferred.Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with intelligence technologies, Incident Management systems, professional Open-Source research, and a corporate security environment.Be prompt in verifying news in real-time and be capable of writing a concise and accurate intelligence report to be distributed within minutes to collaborators.Familiarity with conducting external threat investigations, including research, identity verification/deanonymization, background and related investigatory research.High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgement, and discretion.Experience with OSINT, social media, internal databases, archival research, and other sources.Understand and visualize data to draw analytic conclusions and add context for intelligence products.Ability to balance multiple competing tasks and prioritize accordingly.Track record demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude.Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality documents and presentations. Base Pay Range: $52500 - $70720 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
