Job Title: Physical Security Specialist – FT/PT

Pay Rate: $20 - $23 per hour (Based on Experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Security Specialist to join our security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations and experience handling critical situations. This position offers a night shift differential, with a competitive pay range of $20 to $23 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular security checks and monitor surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activities. Respond to security breaches, alarms, and incidents in a timely and effective manner. Implement access control procedures and verify identities of visitors and staff. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response teams as needed. Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports. Assist in developing and implementing security protocols and training programs. Provide security assessments and recommend improvements to enhance safety.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or related roles. Ability to work night shifts and maintain a high level of alertness. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with security systems, surveillance equipment, and emergency response procedures. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Valid security certifications and licenses as required by the state.
