Summary You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Operations Department of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS. Responsibilities You will prepare reports and briefs for CNIC senior leadership, Region Commanders, and Installation Commanders on Anti Terrorism Physical Security, and Law Enforcement programs and assessments. You will evaluate Regions' and Installations' ability to conduct exercises and drills in accordance with DoD and DoN directives. You will assist with the planning and preparation of manpower, plans, and budgets to support CNIC assessments. You will conduct on-site security training as a member of a Mobile Training Team providing installation and region personnel with the ability to conduct their own Security drills. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting assessments of Antiterrorism, Physical Security and law Enforcement program tactics, techniques and procedures; 2) Coordinating with federal, state and local agencies regarding incident command and crisis management; 3) Directing long-range forecasts of security training requirements; and 4) Analyzing Force Protection programs to implement measure responses to terrorism incidents.
