Allied Universal® Technology Services is looking to hire a Physical Security Specialist. The Specialist is responsible for the software-specific support of our installation team to include the integration and interface of multiple disparate software applications into fully functioning solutions. This position will be responsible for all levels of system head-end commissioning, upgrades, and advanced diagnostics to achieve the defined functionality of systems operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Capable of advanced integration between disparate electronic security systemsLAN & Network configurations experience include wireless communications systemPerform system diagnostic, programming, troubleshooting, configuration scripting and service analysis duties to ensure a fully functioning system Work with Project Managers, End Users and Technician team to provide assistance in regards to the software systemsTroubleshoot project issues and engage appropriate resources as neededEscalate significant issues to the management team as neededWork with the Project Management team to coordinate project and work schedules to ensure project efficienciesTake the lead in end-user User Software training

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

High School Diploma or equivalent experienceIn-depth knowledge of industry-leading security system and equipment providersAdvanced working knowledge of Windows-based platforms, including desktop and server versions, as well as VB scripting.Ability to read and understand advanced technical information and documentationProficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Word) Results-oriented problem-solving skills that meet client and employee needs

Preferred Qualifications (NICE TO HAVE):

Associates or Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldTwo (2) plus years in a technical support software or relatable fieldCertification with major enterprise-level security/access control systemsCertifications in the following Software platforms are preferredSymmetry Access Control, FLIR, Axis, Milestone, Agent VI, Commend, and Guardian Shooter DetectionProfessional Certifications
