Summary You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Security Department, Force Protection of NAVAL SECURITY FORCE BAHRAIN . Responsibilities You will conduct physical security surveys to ensure compliance with security doctrine and/or established security requirements. You will review command physical security programs and systems, on a continuing basis, to develop and approve new operating procedures to ensure an acceptable physical security/force protection posture in compliance with higher directives. You will conduct administration of operating budgets and procurements for physical security type construction, and protective systems required for existing or planned construction and for perimeter installation grounds and building security. You will develop guidance for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods to a variety of work situations, and various levels of degrees of security controls. You will write point papers, operational orders, reports, correspondence, procedures, operation plans, instructions, directives, manuals, and other security related material. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, managing, and implementing Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) and Physical Security (PS) programs that deal with AT/FP and PS equipment accountability, security assist visits and projects 2) Studying and applying new findings and interpretations and improving the security data, material, and methods. 3)Consulting with operations personnel and other security specialists to devise protection systems for providing maximum security with the least interference in the organization's mission.
