PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST (ANTI-TERRORISM)
Summary You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST (ANTI-TERRORISM) in the ANTI-TERRORISM/ FORCE PROTECTION (N34) of NSA SOUTH POTOMAC SECURITY DETACHMENT. Responsibilities You will perform drills of stated Random Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAM) to include entry and exit inspections. You will develop Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection and emergency management directives to implement established policies. You will make recommendations to the organization on Physical Security requirements or discrepancies when vulnerabilities have been identified. You will monitor the on-the-job training program to advise management on subjects to be included in the program and relative matter. You will advise senior leadership on emergency management procedures that comply with standards and maintain an acceptable level of risk to mission operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing security policies and procedures, 2) Interpreting and adapting security guidelines, 3) Analyzing and resolving physical security problems related safeguarding personnel, government property, information, and assets in accordance with accepted practices. OR Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. OR Have a combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience.
