Allied Universal® is hiring a Physical Security Global Systems Administrator. The primary responsibility of the Physical Security Global Systems Administrator is to coordinate and communicate between client's global project personnel and any physical security integration companies that will be performing installation, testing and maintenance services and to manage the day to day needs of the client Corporate security systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop policy templates for individual site security audits and access control functionsCreate and provide training to security professionals and leadership to ensure compliance with access control policiesEvaluate access control processes to detect deficiencies and design and implement performance improvement measuresCollaborate with additional key stakeholders to include personnel from client facilities, safety, and IT departments; ensure access control principles have met all compliance requirementsProgramming of sites, channels, panels, and clearance codes; interpreting access control principles and applying technical requirements to map access badges to access control hardware componentsManage systems maintenance; responsible for ensuring firmware and software updates are performed; coordinate with internal security to ensure system integrityOversee hardware configuration; coordinate with project managers, installers, and site security specialists to ensure hardware is configured; remotely test new devices to ensure devices are installed correctly; report results to the Physical Security Project CoordinatorComplete service requests for access; determine facility access for employees transferring or visiting sitesDevelop training and guidance material for local facilities managers to perform system lockdown functions during emergencies as well as routine holiday or even schedules; coordinate and deliver trainingTroubleshoot incidents and coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for resolutionFollow customer’s information technology business systems; understand and implement processes to ensure complianceTake an active role in learning additional system administration requirements as they are added (e.g., intercoms, visitor management system, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

High school diploma or equivalentEducation or work experience in security system technology, networking, and/or administration (e.g., system management, configuration, installation, etc.)Able to communicate effectively both orally and writtenHighly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlinesAble to use good independent judgment and discretionAbility to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients utilizing effective verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of studyExperience with Honeywell ProWatch, Axis Camera Station, AXIS camerasProfessional security system design and integration experienceKnowledge of/certifications in Milestone, and Qognify/Ocularis video management systemsAmerican Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) membership
