Physical Security Technician, Senior

Our work depends on a Physical Security Technician, Senior, to serve in support of defense analytical and administrative requirements for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC). 

HOW A PHYSICAL SECURITY TECHNICIAN, SR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manage and maintain access control to the CCMD compound and facilities, granting all personnel/visitors appropriate physical access to command facilities and access-controlled areas.Physically inspect and document findings for CCMD SCIF accreditation; perform and maintain all annual SCIF inspection checklists.Maintain the Open Storage Inspection Program and perform annual inspections.Inspect, assess, and draft responses to requests for residential use and storage of sensitive/classified information and equipment.Maintain the online Access Control Database (ACD) and badge records in the American Magnetic Technology (AMAG) system.Monitor the AMAG Intrusion Detection System/Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).Process FVEY Mitigation packages and SCIF accreditation requests for approval.Maintain and process exceptions to SCIF policy requests for the CCMD J2, JIOC.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with favorable poly.US Citizenship RequiredDesired Education and Experience: Master’s degree with 12 yrs related experience or Bachelor’s degree with a total of 17 yrs experience as a substitute to the Master’s degree. At least a portion of your experience must be in the last 2 yrs.Required: Proficiency in access control systems, security protocols, and physical security measuresPreferred: DoD, intelligence, operational, law enforcement, CCMD and / or USCENTCOM experience.
