ChristianaCare is currently hiring a full time out patient Physical Therapist. In this position, you will work at the Middletown Rehabilitation Services site 40% (2 days/week) and the Springside Rehabilitation Services site 60% (3 days/week). Two evenings are required.
Primary Function:
To provide Physical Therapy for individuals requiring rehabilitation after injury or disease process. In this position you will primarily be treating orthopedic patients in a blended neurologic and orthopedic clinic.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate and re-evaluate patients in a timely mannerEstablish appropriate treatment programs that include goals to be attainedComplete all documentation relating to patient care, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.Review active patient recordsProvide patient and family education and trainingMaintain written and verbal communication with referral sources concerning patient careEducation and Experience Requirements:
BS, Masters, or Doctorate degree from an A.P.T.A. approved school of Physical TherapyLicensure or eligibility for licensure in DelawareChristianaCare offers:
