Providence Medical Center (PMC) Rehabilitation Department (Physical Therapy) is looking for a dynamic per diem Physical Therapist (PT) to be a part of our Rehab Team. We need a Physical Therapist (PT) to work in the acute care hospital setting. As one of our Physical Therapists, you will:
provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disordersperform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirementsfunction according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care teambe responsible for inpatient therapies onlybe responsible for: back pain, knee pain, stiff neck, sciatica help, arthritis pain relief, appropriate stretches, and morehave availability on weekdays and weekends: the weekend commitment is one weekend per month and the weekend hours are on Saturday and Sunday are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.outpatient hours are available as well for a candidate who has experience working in this setting QualificationsEducation and Work Experience:
Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapycurrent state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progresscurrent BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain currentone year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting, preferredat #providencemedicalcenter or #PMC we are #hiring in #physicaltherapy for a #physicaltherapist or a #PT for #outpatienttherapy for issues like #backpain and #painrelief for #arthrities and/or #kneepain
