Job Summary

Responsibilities:

- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.

- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.

- Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and function based on each individual patients need.

- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

- Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

- Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into clinical practice as appropriate.

- Expected to meet the needs of having patient execute Plan of Care including but not limited to following up with patients if non compliance occurs.

- Be a team player to utilize non clinical staff to support needs of the caseload

- Proper delegation and use of PTA when applicable.

- Be an active participant in helping to drive a collaborative culture based on our service vision

- Ability to adapt to change in patient schedules and daily patterns.

- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Essential Job Functions:

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific conditions and functional limitations.

- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities effectively to promote recovery and improve patients' physical well-being.

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.

- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

- CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.

- Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.

Physical Requirements:

- Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.

- Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).

- Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.

- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.

- Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.

- Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
