Location: Harbour View Hospital (Suffolk, VA)
Harbour View Hospital is Bon Secours’ new, surgically focused hospital, set to open in early 2025. The facility will include 18 medical/surgical beds and up to four operating rooms. The 98,000-square-foot hospital will adjoin the existing Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View campus, which includes an emergency department, outpatient imaging, outpatient lab services, an ambulatory surgery center and physician practices.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The associate shall be responsible for providing a full range of physical therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in a team environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The associate shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: 4 year Bachelors Degree - graduate of a Doctor of Physical Therapy program, qualified Master’s degree program or four year Bachelor’s degree program approved by the APTA (or foreign equivalent)
2. State license is required state or certification to practice or approved as a Physical Therapist Trainee.
3. Basic Life Support or within 90 days of employment
4. Experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is necessary.
5. Experience with an inpatient program/services and pediatric/adolescent populations is desirable, but not necessary
