Ask your recruiter for details + DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS + Evaluates, directs, plans, and provides treatments for patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies. + POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) + Experience: + Two years experience preferred. Entry-level acceptable. + Education and Training: + Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in area of major. + Ability to comprehend and write the English language. + License, Certification & Registration: + MAPT - Current MA license to practice physical therapy. + CPR Certified + Other Requirements: + Must possess sight/hearing senses to use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met. + Ability to use: Rehab equipment including but not limited to: splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, ADL equipment and modalities. + Must be able to work indoors, and outside, in-patients rooms, therapy gyms, occasionally in a patient’s home and in the community.
