Overview Multiple Sign On Bonus Options! $5,000 -1 year work commitment $10,000 - 2 year work commitment $20,000 - 3 year work commitment (Internal Mission Partners not eligible) Our small but mighty and fun rehab team consists of 2 physical therapists, 1 occupational therapist, 1 physical therapy assistant, 1 cardiac rehab nurse, 1 exercise specialist and 1 patient access service representative. This team specializes in seeing a variety of patients in our quaint critical access hospital in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Some patient populations include, but are not limited to: geriatrics, orthopedics (both post operative and non-surgical), neurological diagnoses, lymphedema and cardiac rehab post cardiopulmonary events and procedures. This team has over 100 years of experience! The leadership team consists of Director and Physical Therapist Katy Enloe, Manager and Physical Therapist, Dr. Amanda Kocis and Supervisor and Occupational Therapist Treva Haney. Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits. Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Other Licenses/Certifications: Respective state license in Physical Therapy or has graduated successfully from a professional program, is in receipt of Authorization to Test Letter, is scheduled to test within 60 days of eligibility, and has not failed the licensure exam. After passing licensure exam, state license must be verifiable within one year of hire. CPR certification within 90 days of hire Valid state driver’s license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract. Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information. Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems.
