Expected pay for this position is $37.99 - $44.70/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Licensure: Physical Therapist License Certification: 1. APTA American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) OR 2. Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (Completion of Entire Series: Level 1, 2A, 2B, Capstone, & Exam) OR 3. APTA Certification of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (CAPP) OR 4. Hand Therapy Certification Commission – Specialty Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) OR 5. Certified Neonatal Therapist OR 6. Lymphedema Association of North America Certification (LANA) Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Licensure/ Certification: Valid state driver’s license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information. Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems.
