Responsibilities

We are offering relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus offered for qualified new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.

Under the general guidance of the Physical Therapy Manager; administers patient evaluations, plans and implements patient treatment proficiently for all assigned patient diagnoses. Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and Technicians in patient treatment programs. Assists in supervision, training and orienting new staff. This position treats/cares for patients of all ages. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.

As our Physical Therapist at Mark Twain Medical Center, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll help our patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing following an illness, injury, or issues with aging. Using various treatments, you will help patients reduce pain, build strength and endurance, increase range of motion, or develop better balance to keep them functioning at their best level.

You’re always ready for the next task. Our physical therapists see between 6 to 8 patients daily for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, or treatments for out-patient and in-patient services. 1 to 1 patient to therapist sessions per hour maximizes the patient and therapist relationship in order to seek the best possible treatment outcomes. You’ll work with a variety of backgrounds - orthopedic injury or surgery recovery, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or conditions affecting balance, to name a few. Qualifications

Minimum:

A Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a university or college accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.Must possess a valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of California.Current American Heart Association BLS.

Preferred:

Experience in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation center and outpatient setting is preferred.Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association is encoura
