The successful candidate:
Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Sign-On Bonus: $5000
Responsibilities:
Perform evaluations, screenings, develop plans of care, and provide direct patient care.
Independently develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs, modifying plans of care as patients' medical conditions change.
Conduct educational in-services on the benefits of Physical Therapy for patients/families, hospital staff, and the community.
Assist with non-patient related duties, including clerical tasks, posting charges, and light housekeeping within the Rehabilitation Department.
Work under the general and direct supervision of the director and manager of the rehabilitation services department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in physical therapy with a minimum of 2 years’ experience (Master's or DPT degree preferred).
Current Illinois License granted by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation from the State of Illinois.
Candidates with an approval letter from the Continental Testing Services, Inc. for PT licensure examination are eligible to apply, in accordance with Section 90/2(2) of the Illinois Physical Therapy Act of 1987.
CPR certification.
