Physical Therapist Job Description The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing outpatient physical therapy services. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, establishing appropriate Plans of Care, overseeing treatment provided by PTAs, and delivering various therapies and exercises to help patients achieve their goals. Responsibilities + Evaluate and treat patients, identifying root causes of dysfunction that impact daily function. + Establish appropriate Plans of Care outlining the path to achieve patient goals. + Oversee treatment provided by PTAs based on the established Plans of Care. + Deliver treatment to patients including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, training in proper techniques for movements and body mechanics, developing balance systems, addressing vertigo, and managing pain. + Educate patients on best ways to self-manage their condition. + Update Plans of Care as necessary and document the progression of treatment effectiveness. + Assess the need for adaptive equipment, including canes, walkers, and orthotics. + Develop discharge plans for patients. + Submit appropriate charges daily for physical therapy services. + Assist administration with billing and reporting. Essential Skills + Physical Therapy + Current Physical Therapist License in the State of Wisconsin + Experience in Outpatient Therapy Open to entry level and/or experienced physical therapists! Work Environment The position follows a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some variance depending on location. Openings are available in Wausau, Weston, and Rib Mountain. The role offers individual care time slots of 45 minutes and does not require multicare. The Physical Therapist will collaborate closely with providers, including doctors and surgeons, in a growing network of 8 locations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $79000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
