Physical Therapist Aide – Posting #26680

Hourly Rate: $22.14

Position Summary:

Full-time Physical Therapist Aide position available at our White Center Medical Clinic. The Physical Therapist Aide supports physical therapy care delivery by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment and materials; performing procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist or occupational therapist. Candidates must be bilingual in English/Spanish. Previous experience working with a team and in a medical setting is highly desirable. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares treatment area for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.Helps treat patients by applying heat or cold packs; paraffin dips; helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion; tracking walking time and distance; measuring mobility; monitoring prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.Maintains physical therapy supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.Other duties assigned as necessary.

Education and/or Qualifications:
